Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover

Magic nail polish remover?! Sounds good to me. Especially the '1 second per nail' part is what appealed to me when I saw this. For lazy people like me, this sounds like a wonder-product.

I have always been fine with using regular nail polish remover and cotton wool but the price of this (€6.99) convinced me to try this. So, you basically put your finger in the hole of the sponge and twist it and your nail polish is off! This doesn't take 1 second per nail, maybe 3 because you kind of have to twist to get everything off but it still is a LOT faster than with your regular nail polish remover. When you are done, you are left with a layer of almond oil on your fingers, which smells really nice and is nourishing at the same time. Although it doesn't feel very nice... But when you wash your hands it's fine.

Overall, I really love this product! The only downside is the residue of the almond oil that doesn't feel very nice and also, I wonder how long the inside is going to stay wet? Anyway, I will repurchase this product because it's not that much more expensive than a bottle of nail polish remover.

My Rose Gold Watch

The 19th of July was my birthday, yay! And I got a lot of nice and thoughtful gifts but my favorite one was from my boyfriend and it was this Fossil rose gold watch.
He says he picked it out by himself and it was just the one I would pick (if I had any money).

Also, it came in such a cute box! I don't know if all Fossil watches are packed like this but I love it.

In different lighting the watch slightly changes color. Like in the picture above it seems more like a true gold than a rose gold, but I love that. ♥

Springfield Cosmetics

I don't really shop at Springfield normally but since there was a sale on I took a look. I didn't really like the clothes they had but... apparently they sold makeup? Ofcourse I had to look around in there and I found some nice things. When I saw that each item was €4.99 I decided I was going to pick some things up to try them out. I found a bright lipstick and a VERY bright blush. Then I saw that it was 3 items for €10 so I quickly grabbed a nailpolish in a colour I didn't have already, which was green.

So this is what the nailpolish looks like. It's called Verde. I have to say I wouldn't really recommend the Springfield nailpolishes. The colour goes on very very sheer on your nails and you need 3 layers. I quite like the colour though, even though I grabbed it barely looking at the colour. 

The lipstick I chose was a bright fuchsia coulour which almost looks like a neon fuchsia on the lips (doesn't look like that in the picture though). I like the formula of it. It kind of reminds me of my Rimmel London lipstick in Hot Pink. So I think this lipstick is a great find, especially for €3.33!

And finally there's the blush, which is a super bright coral. Again, in real life it looks a lot brighter and like a true coral. A lot more pink/red. Also, you get 10 grams of product! And when you apply it to your cheeks with a brush, the tiniest amount is way too much. So I doubt I will ever hit pan on this blush.

So overall, for the price (of €3.33 per item) I like the Springfield makeup. It also smells really nice and fruity, even the blush.

Favorite Nailpolishes #3

Nog eens een post over een mooi nagellakje :) en deze keer is het er eentje van Rimmel. Het is een frisse turquoise kleur die, vind ik, heel het jaar wel mooi staat.
Wat ik het echte pluspunt vind aan dit lakje is toch wel het borsteltje en de droogtijd. 

Het is namelijk één van de 60 seconds lakjes. O ja, en de kleur is 825 Sky High.

De kleur:

Ik hou echt wel van deze kleur tussen turquoise en blauwgroen. Past heel mooi als je een zwart kleedje aanhebt met goude accessoires.

De dekking:

Zeker 2 laagjes nodig, misschien zelfs 3. Maar dat vind ik echt niet erg als hij zo snel droogt. Ook heel handig als je je nagels 's morgens lakt want dan kan je er sneller een topcoat overheen doen en aan je dag beginnen.

Busy Bee

Ik heb de voorbije anderhalve week niets gepost omdat ik ben gaan skiën in Oostenrijk, sorry daarvoor!
Ik heb wel gemerkt dat er nog steeds mensen mijn blog bezochten, wat heel fijn is om te zien :)

Deze vakantie is redelijk druk voor mij door naar Oostenrijk te gaan + solliciteren voor een vakantiejob + een nieuw kot zoeken want daar moet je snel bij zijn + een vakantie zoeken voor in de zomer met mijn vriend + rijlessen, bluhh :( ...

Maar nu kan ik terug bloggen :D

Watch me Simmer REPROMOTED

Favorite Nailpolishes #2

Eén van mijn favoriete nagellakjes is deze felle muntgroene-turquoise van Deborah Milano.
Hij is nummer 55 van de Shine Tech-lijn. Ik kocht hem bij de INNO (Antwerpen). Had zelf nog nooit van het merk gehoord maar ze hebben er leuke kleurtjes staan.

De kleur:

Supermooie zomerse kleur. Het is niet muntgroen en ook niet helemaal turquoise. Ik zou ook niet zeggen dat hij pastel is maar het is gewoon een mooie, frisse kleur.

De dekking:

Met 2 laagjes dekt hij goed en hij droogt ook snel wat zeker een pluspunt is.
